Nice place for short and long stays
Quite big hotel with many amenities (garden, gym, pool, parking, restaurant) Appartment big with bathroom and air condition, clean. Near to a supermarket, 10 min walk from main square. Breakfast included (large variety of meals).
Railways by the window, quite noisy, especially at night.

Good
It was walking distance to the center as well as the train station/bus station. 3 mins train ride from vimmerby station to Astrid lingren world and super convenient.

What was the highlight of Hotell Ronja
Apartment close to Astrid Lindgrens Värld
We booked a superior family room with 2 bedrooms + a small kitchen which was great for family (though everything was on one floor rather than two floors as in the pictures). Very close (5-min drive) to Astrid Lindgrens Värld. A small playground outside of the hotel was great for kids.
Dark in the room and facilities were old. A lamp dropped from the wall which looked dangerous! Breakfast room was crowded and the food ran out quickly. The surrounding area was industrial and looked a bit rough. Overpriced. Overall felt like a motel rather than a hotel.

What was the highlight of Hotell Ronja
Not as good as we had expected
Good breakfast and good location for Astrids Lindgrens park
The elevator was terrible. The family room we booked was for 5 people. Three grownups and two children 5 and 12 but it was not comfortable. Two of the beds were upstairs (very steep ladder) where the height was less than 150 cm so it was not possible to stand up. And too dangerous for a child to sleep up there.We had to rent an extra bed to be able to sleep downstairs. But it was only a double bed a sofa and light extra bed.
